CamMenu respects your privacy and is committed to protecting user data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using our application.

1. Information We Collect To provide our core services (such as AI menu translation and cloud history), we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: When you sign in using Apple or Google, we collect your unique User ID to identify your account and synchronize your data across your devices.
• Location Data: We access your device's precise location (GPS) solely to identify the restaurant name for your personal records. Location data is processed in real-time and is not tracked continuously in the background.
• User Content: Menu images you capture and order history you create are uploaded to our secure cloud servers (Google Firebase). This allows you to restore your purchase history and access your data from multiple devices. Your data remains private and is not shared with other users.

2. Image Processing & AI Services

• AI Analysis: Uploaded images are transmitted to third-party AI services (Google Gemini API) solely for the purpose of text recognition and translation.
• Data Usage: Images are processed to generate menu data and are stored in your personal history log.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Cloud Storage: Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. This ensures that your order history and subscription status are preserved even if you change devices or reinstall the app.
• Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

4. Third-Party Services We use trusted third-party services to operate the App:

• Google Gemini API: For menu translation and analysis.
• Google Maps/Places API: For location-based restaurant identification.
• Google Firebase: For authentication and database storage.
• RevenueCat / Apple StoreKit: For processing subscriptions. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Account Deletion You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. You can request account deletion directly within the App settings. Upon deletion, all your personal cloud data will be permanently removed.

6. Policy Updates We may update this policy as our features evolve. Continued use of CamMenu after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new policy.
